CREATING A NEW GENERATION OF ISRAEL AMBASSADORS
Irving created The Sabra Report, a weekly newsletter intended to stimulate conversation about Israel by recapping major events & providing context, in 2015. Irving is the former president of the Sephardic Israel Committee and the founder and president of The Sabra Institute.
David is an attorney serving as general counsel for multiple mid-size and large companies in the tri-state area. His deep love and connection to Israel, combined with the current state of affairs in the media and general public, has driven his interest in developing a community platform for Israel advocacy.
Joseph graduated with honors from Brooklyn College and Columbia University, where he studied philosophy and religion. He is currently a student at Fordham Law School. His involvement with Israel advocacy began in 2013 when he spent a gap year in Israel after high school. There, he gained an intimate understanding of the political and social dynamics of the controversies pertinent to Israeli/Palestinian relations.
Alisa is currently pursuing her MA in Near Eastern Studies at New York University. A recent graduate of the CUNY Baccalaureate School and Baruch College, she graduated with honors in both Middle Eastern studies and world literature. Her experience as a pro-Israel student on the college campus and her knowledge of the Middle East have motivated her to help build the Sabra Institute to create more educated and prepared college-bound students from her community and abroad.
